Brac

The island of Brac is situated SE of the city of Split and east of the island of Solta. It is separated from Solta by a small channel. It is the third largest island in Croatia (after Cres and Krk) and it is also known as a popular resort island.

The island of Brac is always easily recognizable on the postcards or pictures because of its famous Zlatni Rat beach near Bol. Its highest peak Vidova Gora is also the highest one on all of the Croatian islands. Apart from Zlatni Rat beach, Brac is also known for its white stone which even Romans used for building Diocletian’s palace in the city of Split and even the White House in Washington DC was built with it.

While sailing on the Adriatic coast with your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) make sure you visit Brac.

The island is very well equipped with mooring facilities, ten harbors, two marinas and a lot of anchorages around its coastline.

It doesn’t matter whether you are coming with friends or family, make sure you take your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) to visit the island of Brac and discover the beauty of the Adriatic Sea with Lighthouse Yacht Charter Croatia.
