CHECK-IN

Although it might seem complicated, yacht charter check-in is really a simple one. The first day of your yacht charter starts on Saturday so that is when you are expected to arrive at the charter base.

You will be able to get on board of your yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) at approx. 5 p.m. In case you are coming earlier, please inform us so that the yacht can be prepared for you earlier.

However, the possibility of getting your yacht before 5 p.m. really depends on how much work the charter base has that day.

The first step of preparation for a smooth check-in starts at least 7 days prior the beginning of your charter and that is why we advise you send us your crew list before!

For check-in please prepare your sailing license, VHF license, passports or ID cards of everybody coming along with you and Boarding Voucher.

In this phase, you will be asked to pay the security deposit which can be done by cash or by credit cards.

While you do this, your skipper will have time to do the technical check-in. Since all yachts need to be in perfect condition, your skipper will do the last check through and thus ensuring your safety on the sailing trip.

Technical and safety briefing is the last thing and the most important segment of the yacht charter check-in procedure. This briefing lasts approx. 45 minutes and during it you will be informed of technical details and will be given safety instructions.

Only after the briefing, you are free to board your yacht.

CHECK-OUT

Your chartered yacht (sailing yacht, catamaran, motor boat or gulet) is booked from Saturday – Saturday but you will be expected to get back to the marina on Friday in the evening. You will be able to spend the night on board.

In case you are unable to return the yacht to the charter base on Friday, you need to inform the charter base about it and your reasons for this. In this case, you will have to make sure you arrive on Saturday before 8 a.m. so the yacht can be checked – out and prepared for the next guests.

Upon Check – out all documents of the yacht are given to the staff of the marina and the skipper and one member of the charter base will do a check again. If there are no damages and all inventory is as it was during the check-in the security deposit (that you have paid during the check – in) will be returned to you.

In case there are damages to the yacht or inventory is not complete, you can lose a part of your security deposit. If the damages of the yacht cannot be covered by your security deposit you will have to pay extra.

After the check-out procedure is finished you are then free to head back home.
