In the afternoons we’ll find private coves for a swim in the Adriatic, exploring a new island every day. From fresh fish to local lamb, we’ll taste our way through the islands traditional cuisine in the villages to seaside fine dining. You’ll see the unspoiled beauty of Croatia’s nature and feel rejuvenated, fulfilled, and ready for more! The country of Croatia is stunning and incredible; it is full of splendor and magnificent history! I would have been able to appreciate its beauty without any aid yet travelling through the country with an expert amplified my experience immensely. I was introduced to the history being able to greater appreciate the premise of the culture. I felt the affection of the locals by touring the family wineries, olive oil businesses, truffle shops, and indulging in the cuisine at hidden gem restaurants with spectacular views. We visited several regions from the mountain top villages Istria, to the booming city of Zadar, and my favorite-the island of Dugi Otok. Without the inside knowledge, I would not have been able to grasp the vast diversity that Croatia has to offer. You may be get a wonderful surface experience on your own, but nothing like appreciation of the spectrum I felt on this expedition with Ashley. I now feel connected to the heartstrings of this country. This experience has been my most favorite and memorable travel adventure to-date, and it is going to be extremely hard to match.

In 2016, Ashley planned our family reunion in Croatia. Ashley is very good at planning trips with multiple different regions. One thing we all enjoyed was being together on the ship with just our relatives but still feel like we all had our own space. At each destination, Ashley set up multiple itineraries that allowed us to choose what we were interested in, whether it was her hiking, relaxing, shopping, or exploring unique historical areas in the region. Overall, I enjoyed her insight on every destination because she always seemed to know where each “hidden gem” at every place we travelled to.
